60/100It is a slop, but that slop had potencial, and couldn't achieve it.Continue on AniListFirst of all, i knew that was a power-fantasy slop, i knew it wouldn't have the best plot, the best characters, or anything awesome at all, but this one DISSAPOINTED me. What you mean his party simply swaped him without even knowing what he does for the team? And they are somehow the strongest party on south? That makes no sense. But that's not the problem, the pace is TERRIBLE.
Spoilers ahead:
I know there's probably a reason for this, we have been hinted about how Orun isnt a normal person, and is somehow stronger than the average, but if it's that easy to make original (and broken) 魔術, why only Orun can do it? It's also hinted on the dialogue he achieved it without remembering his original identity, he's just good like that? But it goes worse. He killed the BLACK DRAGON, a floor 92 boss, and he's not praised? People should be studying him, invading his house to know more about him, he should be treated like Lebron. The Black Dragon literally killed the strongest swordsman south ever had (and he was with his party btw!), and then Orun kills it on 1v1 and people act like this isnt the best feat they ever saw? Crazy. We have other problems as well, on episode 11 we learn about the observer of team 10 expedition, who is a member of the 2nd strongest party from Silver Rabbits, and he's oneshotted by a girl who later is oneshoted by Orun, and somehow that girl and 2 other fodders are conrades of Shion who is a million times stronger than them? How is that team balanced? What is Amuntzers even doing?
But at least the series had some good moments. Orun powers are pretty cool, including his Special Ability. The way a party works is well explained and it makes sense within the world-building, the voice cast is quite good, the animation is decent. They use a lot of 3d in some scenes but that doesn't kill the experience at all, considering the 3d is, in my opinion, implemented well. The Black Dragon fight (the 1v1) was very cool, tho i would like to know why the dragon didn't use his regen ability that was later shown on episode 12, i don't take the "The dragon is understimating me!" thing, because the dragon was dying as well.
As for the characters, i like the trio from team 10, they feel like real characters with traumas, unlike most people in this universe, that aren't deep at all. The biggest example of team is probably Selma. Her best teammate died in a expedition 1 year ago and she doesn't seem affected at all (except for one scene with the Black Dragon skin)? Her character as a whole is "Orun is so good at magic! Maybe i have feelings for him??!".
Concluding it, i think the series deserves a 6 out of 10, nothing special, nothing terrible, but had potencial to be better for sure.

55/100Not beautiful, not ugly. But not the worst I've ever seen either.Continue on AniListWhen I started this anime, I never had any kind of premise.
One of the trillions of anime where a random guy from a famous adventurers' party was bullied because he was considered the weakest member of the group and consequently kicked out. It's stuff I've seen over and over again, and something that a seasoned veteran like me usually avoids like the plague. And in fact, I'm not betrayed by this because it's exactly what it is: a guy gets kicked out of the heroes' party because he's considered weak, and then turns out to be actually really good.
So I can't really see this as a negative; if you're willing to accept it, it won't even be too much of a burden to watch.
Aside from these premises, almost two-thirds of this anime is quite boring, and that might lead you to drop it mid-stream, which is more than understandable. However... as trite as the setting and characters are, the final part was at least "worth watching." I don't want to give away any spoilers, but the "revelations" and characters shown in the latest episodes perhaps conceal plot points that are much more sophisticated than the classic slice-of-life dungeon, hinting at a sequel. However, it's unclear whether it will ever arrive, and I can't speculate because I know nothing about the original LN.Technically, I can't say anything about it. It's no Demon Slayer, but it's no One Frame Man either. Very basic and academic; a clean style without too many frills, which is rare in this kind of anime where there are usually several stylistic exaggerations that often end up looking tacky. The music is good and the dubbing is average, and the few noteworthy action scenes are actually more than enjoyable.
I won't say anything about the characters because they're the classic stereotypes for this genre of anime. At least, there weren't any characters that made me want to imitate a famous European dictator with a very short mustache.
The main problem with this series ultimately turned out to be its pacing, which was too slow and boring in the first 6-7 episodes, if not 8.
With so many episodes that ultimately lead to nothing but "living day by day," the chances of waning the audience's interest are very high, and many might not even make it to the final episodes, which ultimately turned out to be quite interesting.
So, basically, I don't know if I'd recommend it to others. I personally wasn't crazy about it, but that's probably because I'm fed up with these type of anime and usually tend not to even watch them or drop after only two episodes. However, I can't say I'd give it a thumbs up either, because it wasn't such a bad watch, but it didn't give me enough to get me interested to the point of recommending it to others too.If they ever make a sequel, unless it's eons away, I'll almost certainly watch it even just out of curiosity.
Small note, the opening theme is much catchier than usual for this kind of anime.
Regarding the ending, I can't say anything. I've never listened to it. :PCharacter: 5,5
Plot: 6
Pacing: 4

76/100I don’t know, that seems like a party to me…Continue on AniListMy Review of "Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None"!
Lowkey enjoyed watching this anime more than I expected to.
____Story____ Orhun Dura was a member of the Hero Party, being an enchanter for the party but also being able to fill in other roles as he’s a jack-of-all-trades. However, since he was a master of none, he was kicked out of the party. Once kicked out, Orhun decided that he was going to become a solo adventurer. This lifestyle, however, would get him involved in a certain dungeon’s problems and the Night Sky Silver Rabbits, another guild that had some members show interest in him. He’d have to fight monsters and troublesome groups while training younger adventurers.

____The Good____ I think for this genre of anime, Jack-of-All-Trades does a good job balancing a protagonist that seems to potentially be overpowered. It’s kind of hard to balance an overpowered MC since most shows either make them too powerful or too weak which can either bore the viewer or really downplay their abilities. Despite being labeled a Jack of All Trades, Orhun seems mostly fairly balanced for his roles, which makes him an enjoyable protagonist to me. The animation does a good job in the moments it needs to. The characters were enjoyable and the story was quite nice as well. I do have sort of a soft spot for anime where the protagonist is kicked out from a party and ends up being way stronger than expected, and I do think that this show is good for its category.

____The Bad____ The title feels a little misleading, no? I swore Orhun was technically in 3 different parties throughout this anime. The first one was the one that kicked him out, the second was the one that trained the children, and the third was the Night Sky Silver Rabbits. Sure, there were parts where he wasn’t in a party, but for the most part, he was in one. A nitpick that I do have is that there weren't enough interactions between Orhun and his first party. I was expecting Orhun’s previous party to play a bigger role, but the Night Sky felt more important and this show slowly felt less and less like a “Casted out OP MC” anime and more like an anime with an OP MC.

____The Downright Ugly____ Nothing downright ugly here…

____Is It Worth The Watch?____ I honestly found this show to be worth the watch. It’s an above average show in the outcasted OP MC genre. Although the main character was in a party, I think the misleading title doesn’t ruin the story that much because the story is still good in itself.
Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope this helped you with your decision on whether to watch this anime or not! If you already have watched it, I hope that you can agree with me with some of the points I made. If you enjoyed this review, I would greatly appreciate a follow too! ^^
