  My Review of "Hotel Inhumans"!

  First Apocalypse Hotel, now this. Anime that has hotels as a major theme might be the next big thing.

  ____Story____

  Hotel Inhumans is an episodic anime that revolves around two skillful concierges, Ikuro Hoshi and Sara Haizaki, and the stories of their guests. The concierges often help with their guests' struggles as they fulfill any request they’re given ranging from making a certain dish to asking for help to save someone.

  ____Characters____

  Ikurou Hoshi is the more humane and emotional concierge of the two that reside in the hotel. He’s a good cook and he has a friendly personality. On the other hand, Sara Haizaki is a more cold and calculated concierge. She’s often the one who handles anything requiring murder or physical altercations. This can include fighting or protecting. Together, both characters have noticeable differences that combine to create a wonderful hotel environment with their staff.

  ____The Good____

  This truly felt like an anime that everyone involved was passionate about. The animation was quite good. The author clearly put a lot of thought into each character. I really liked that all of these characters didn’t come off as one-sided and actually had their own unique mindsets and dynamics, which kept this anime interesting and prevented it from growing stale. These backstories were often sad or emotional, and it worked wonders to keep my eyes focused on this. It wasn’t like this anime was all serious either because there were a few moments that I found quite funny. The stories had depth and some clever thinking involved, which I really like. I think I may have a newfound enjoyment for hotel anime. Mixing hotels and assassins is a unique and fun idea that was executed well with care.

  ____The Bad____

  To be quite honest, I think that this anime didn’t really make a lot of mistakes or errors this season. If I really had to be nitpicky, I wish the last episode had more action. Most of the moments in the final episode felt like filler that could’ve been used to maybe help with the introduction of season 2. I will say that the final episode wasn’t all filler as it did wrap up the final storyline of the season, but I wish it also slowly brought in the new storyline that would begin the second season. They might’ve done it right near the end, but I wish they could’ve done more.

  ____The Downright Ugly____

  Nothing downright ugly about this anime.

  ____Is It Worth The Watch?____

  I think that this anime is worth watching. Personally, I’ve been enjoying hotel anime and I have a soft spot for assassins and spies, especially in wholesome anime. Combining these two concepts alongside what looks like a studio and author that clearly cared and put a lot of effort into developing the story and animation results in a fun and interesting anime that I really enjoyed.
