DESCRIPTION

An unaired episode bundled with the 9th volume of the light novel.

The party ends up running into Megumin's self-proclaimed rival, Yunyun, during a trip to Wiz's shop. Annoyed at the increased noise level brought on by additional company, Kazuma notices a choker at his feet. After trying it on casually, he runs into big trouble: it's a magical choker designed to make wishes come true, and until his wish does come true, it's going to keep tightening around his neck until he's strangled to death! The others work hard to help make his "dreams" come true so that the choker will come loose, with Wiz offering her thighs as pillows, Darkness doing push ups to make her chest sway, and Megumin and Yunyun engaged in strip rock paper scissors... while Aqua runs errands. But will even that be enough to make the choker come off?

The bonus episode for the Konosuba Season 1
This is just an extra episode at the end of the first season of Konosuba, going off the ratings on IMDb, it seems like a good amount of people skipped this episode. Not sure why since Konosuba mainly contains episodes that have more comedy moments than any sort of story, and the series isn't that long either. To describe the situation of the episode, Kazuma accidentally puts on a choker, which says to grant wishes, but instead it actually only comes off until his wishes come true. This gives Kazuma the opportunity to ask his party (and Wiz) to do whatever they want for him, unsurprisingly, Aqua was left to do meaningless chores instead. While Wiz was just utterly confused why Kazuma would want her to do some of the things he made her do. Unfortunately, Megumin and Yunyun don't survive Kazuma's wrath and have to endure his scandalous demands. I mean, he's too Greedy, sitting in Wiz's chest, watching Darkness do pushups and Megumin and Yunyun in strange Kazuma-chosen outfits. Too much salt ruins a dish and that. It's way too funny too see how Kazuma acts though. He even gets them all in the bathroom. After all his perverse wishes, everyone had had enough of him and confronted him. More importantly, an actual important scene came after this, which is one I'm surprised people missed. She actually respects Kazuma as a friend since he was so accepting for her in his party, even if everyone else rejected him. They even build up the courage to face his demands together and accepted responsibility for his choker together. They all say goodbye to Kazuma before he dies, regretting his shameful lifestyle and confessing what he thought about everyone. In the end, it turns out his wish was to be comforted, which everyone was angry at him for. So for a bonus episode, it was packed with actual content, as well as the evident fan-service as expected of a bonus episode too. The content was actually important though, I see this episode as being really vital in explaining the relationship between Kazuma and Megumin, which isn't something addressed to much in this show, since it is just a comedy isekai, which doesn't demand many complex relationships. But even so, I'm suprised a scene like this was just left inside a bonus episode. Ultimately, it's worth watching alongside after season 1, I would see it more as being an actual episode in season 1, than being a bonus episode, since it has some importance to the show as a whole.
