  "Doctor Stone" has been a comforting and impactful anime for me, transcending many other shows I've watched.

  

  Doctor Stone has always been a comfort show for me. I’ve watched a lot of anime, and a lot of anime has left an impact on me, some wonderful and some absolutely dog shit, but Doctor Stone was always a cut above the rest for me, which might be surprising since most of my favorite shows are mostly action-focused, but if it didn’t have an impact on me. It wouldn’t be in my top 10; otherwise, I started watching this during a really rocky period of my life, and at the time, I didn’t really have a way to wind down and get things off my mind besides watching anime. And out of everything at the time, Doctor Stone helped to put me at ease more than everything else; seeing Senku figure things out along the way while being in such a predicament encouraged me to keep my head up and keep moving forward. Although it’s fiction, he was in a way worse situation. I can’t even imagine rebuilding civilization after over 3,000 years, and mind you, at the time he wasn’t aware that the people around him could be revived. Writing this is making me remember all my favorite moments in the anime :D. A few of my favorite characters, such as Taiju, Ryuiisui, Chrome, Suika, and Tsukasa, all taught me so much through their amazing writing. Taiju, a pacifist who always tries to solve problems without resorting to violent acts. Ryuiisui, the greediest man alive, the man who wants it all for himself and everyone around him. Chrome, the rookie scientist who, with the sole exception of Senku and Xeno, always pulls through with his amazing ideas and thinking skills. Suika is referencing the anime and is an SS+ member of the kingdom of science. No matter what the situation may be, Suika comes in clutch every time. Without her, the kingdom of science would be done for. And last but not least, Tsukasa. Who was once the main villain for a time for reasons I can understand quickly became a vital asset for the kingdom of science along with the fighting team, Tsukasa wants a world where all people are treated equally and will ensure that happens by any means. Doctor Stone is an amazing show, and I highly recommend this to everyone. This show has something for everyone to enjoy. At the time of writing this, the last episode will be aired in 2 days, and it's crazy to believe after 7 years and a phenomenal run it's coming to an end. A huge thank you to Riichirou Inagaki for creating this masterpiece. And to everyone responsible for its production.

  Seven years of waiting have passed, and we have witnessed the end of humanity's journey to restart civilization.

  

  From the summer of 2019 to the height of summer in 2026, seven years have passed in the blink of an eye.

  From the very first episode of the first season to the successful conclusion of the final season of SCIENCE FUTURE, my seven-year journey of following the series has finally come to a complete end. As a long-time fan who has followed every episode without missing a single one, the moment I finished watching the last episode, I shed tears of emotion.—the epic civilization of Dr. Stone, along with my seven years of youth, has peacefully come to a close.

  Seven years is enough time to change many preferences, go through many stages, and shed much of my naivety. But Dr. Stone remains the most special and reassuring presence in my anime list. It's not like the dramatic action of a shonen anime, not like the sweet tenderness of a healing anime, not like the thrilling twists and turns of a suspense anime; it stands alone, telling the story of the purest and greatest romance of human civilization in the simplest way.

  Looking back at the entire work, it was truly "special" from start to finish.The opening scene depicts the complete annihilation of humanity. In an instant, they are petrified, slumbering for three thousand years.A once-thriving civilization is smoothed over by wind and rain, cities become vegetation, and humanity returns to stone statues. The world resets to zero, everything returning to its most primitive, desolate starting point.

  Most post-apocalyptic works are about survival; only Dr. Stone is about revival.When everyone is trapped in time, Senku awakens.He has no power, no martial arts, no destiny.His only possessions are all the knowledge accumulated by modern people and unwavering rationality.

  While others struggle to survive in dire circumstances, he plans civilization in the wasteland.From making fire, purifying water, making medicine, and crafting tools, to electricity, communication, engines, and spaceflight… the entire anime is a complete, realistic record of human civilization.Step by step, bit by bit, countless failures, countless restarts, and countless acts of patience.After seven years of following the series, my deepest feeling is: This is not a legend of heroes; this is a human miracle.

  

  The most moving aspect of Dr. Stone is never how cool its science is, but that it respects the value of every ordinary person.Chrome's persistence, Kohaku's courage, Taiju's purity, Yuzuriha's gentleness, Suika's growth… In the Kingdom of Science, there is no absolute center, and no one is merely a tool.Each person carries their own personality, weaknesses, passions, and beliefs, holding up their own piece of the sky in their respective positions.It showed me something rare for the first time in a shonen manga: the power of gentleness, the greatness of cooperation, and a tolerant perspective.Even the biggest conflict in the entire story is not absolute evil.Tsukasa yearns for a pure new world, wanting to rid humanity of its filth and greed.He is extreme and obsessive, yet incredibly sincere.The conflict throughout the work is never a battle between good and evil, but a clash of two ideals: one wanting to overthrow and start anew, the other wanting to continue the legacy.No one is completely right, and no one is completely wrong.It is this mature narrative that makes this anime so watchable for seven years, growing deeper with each viewing.Its passion is quiet.It doesn't rely on action to ignite, nor on explosive plot twists.Its ignition point is "starting from scratch."It's about never giving up in dire straits, daring to explore the unknown, solving difficulties, and creating from the void.Senku's famous quote—"All the unknown is a possibility"—has permeated my seven years of watching anime.

  In these years of fast-paced anime flooding the market, Dr. Stone has always been the most reassuring presence in my heart.It doesn't torture the main characters, it doesn't cause depression, it doesn't maliciously kill off characters, and it doesn't create anxiety.It simply tells you slowly: Civilization needs time to mature, progress needs patience, and the future needs people to strive for it.The story ends with a gaze at the universe, revealing the truth.There is no final battle, no complete demise,just a simple sentence—the exploration continues.This is perhaps the best ending.

  Because civilization never ends, and science has no limit.The ending we see is merely the curtain falling on the anime's story, not the final chapter of human exploration.Seven years of youth, beginning with the anime, ending with the anime.

  I went from a viewer eagerly awaiting weekly updates to a long-time fan who watched the entire series conclude.Looking back, I understand: Dr. Stone gave me more than just a long-running anime; it gave me a rare worldview—that even if the world were to reset, as long as thought continues and passion remains, humanity will always possess the ability to restart the future.

  Seven years together, a perfect ending.Thank you, Dr. Stone.It illuminated a part of my youth and has made me forever believe: The most powerful force is never talent or miracles,but rather humanity's indomitable courage towards the future.

  Boring sometimes but somehow Dr. STONE still made me care about humanity.

  Dr. STONE is a weird anime for me because I don’t even think it was always that entertaining.

  Like honestly, some episodes were boring as hell. There were parts where I watched in 2x speed just to get through it because the pacing was dragging too much. Not because I hated it, but because I already cared enough to continue and I just wanted the story to move already.

  And that is kinda the strange thing about this anime. I can complain about it being slow, I can say some arcs were not that exciting, I can say some jokes were whatever, but I still kept coming back. There was always something about the world and the characters that made me want to see what happens next.

  The main thing that carried Dr. STONE for me was the characters and the feeling of the whole story. Senku is obviously the main guy, but it was never just about him being smart. It was about everyone slowly coming together and building something again. Chrome, Gen, Kohaku, Ryusui, Tsukasa, Taiju, Yuzuriha, and the others all made the world feel alive in their own way. Some of them are simple characters, sure, but they still worked for the kind of story Dr. STONE wanted to tell.

  And yeah, this sounds corny, but Dr. STONE actually made me believe in humanity a little. Not in some fake motivational speech way. More like “damn, humans can be pretty amazing when they are not being stupid.” The anime shows people creating things, learning things, failing, helping each other, and building impossible stuff from basically nothing. That part hit me more than I expected.

  It also gave me a world to escape into. A world where everything ended, but people still started again from zero. They did not just sit around crying about how bad everything became. They started making soap, food, medicine, phones, ships, all kinds of insane stuff. Obviously it is anime, so a lot of it is exaggerated, but the feeling behind it worked.

  At the same time, I can’t pretend Dr. STONE is perfect. Sometimes the science explanations were cool, but sometimes it really felt like homework. Sometimes the comedy landed, and sometimes I just sat there waiting for the scene to end. Some arcs are way better than others. Some episodes had me excited, and some episodes were just something I had to raw dog through because I was already too deep into the series.

  But as a whole, Dr. STONE has something special.

  By Science Future, looking back at the whole journey feels kinda crazy. This anime started with basic survival and slowly turned into a huge humanity comeback story. Even when the watching experience was not always fun, the bigger picture was still strong. I liked seeing how far they could go, what they could rebuild next, and how each character added something to the Kingdom of Science.

  So yeah, Dr. STONE is slow sometimes, boring sometimes, and I definitely forced myself through parts of it.

  But I don’t regret watching it.

  Because under all the dragging and explaining, there is a real heart in this anime. It is about humans being messy, annoying, selfish, and dumb, but also curious and stubborn enough to rebuild the world again. It made science feel less like school and more like proof that people can do insane things when they actually work together.

  Not every episode stayed with me. Not every arc was great. But the feeling of the whole anime did.

  And honestly, that is enough for me.
