  Bring the Season Two, Please!

  For never having heard about the manga before the anime, this anime certainly surprised me with how much I ended up liking it! Is it my favorite anime that came out in the Fall 2025 season? No, no, it's not; however, I certainly like it, and I'd probably rank it my third favorite that aired. It was cute! And it was nice to get a pretty unique shoujo! They tend to be quite rare after all!

  In some ways, it's a rather typical shoujo fantasy romance anime, and in others, it's unique. It makes for a good blend of the genre, I'd say. It's a great anime that's just cute and relaxing, and it's nice that it has a dub, so it can be put on in the background. The concept is interesting, and the main characters are both cute, along with their relationship. It's a likable anime, and that's what makes it stand out.

  What I liked most is the two leads. Melphiera isn't a stereotypical perfect, UwU female lead or anything like that. She's adventurous and faces the judgment head-on and doesn't let it get to her. She's likable, interesting, and overall a good character. She's not extremely developed or complex or anything, but that's not needed for this sort of story. She's perfect for this story is probably the best way I could describe her.

  As for the male lead, Aristide, I really liked him! He wasn't a typical, cold Duke of the North. But instead, he was funny, charming, and really kind towards the female lead. The two worked really well together, and I liked their dynamic. Their relationship has developed quickly, but it works well. They love each other pretty early on, and in a way, it's rather refreshing. If this were a more serious story, then I would've preferred a long, developed romance. But for a slice of life, this was good! They're really cute together!

  

  The story was more slice of life more than anything, but I don't have an issue with that. They slayed monsters and ate them! And as someone who loves cooking and baking, that's right up my alley! Aside from when the monster is cute, that bothered me somewhat. Alongside all that, they're slowly falling for each other, and it's just so cute! I loved it!

  The animation was decently good! Nothing phenomenal, but better than the usual animation I see for shoujo fantasy animes, so I was certainly happy with it. I thought the opening and ending songs were a bit boring, but they were alright. Just not very memorable.

  I'd certainly recommend this anime if you want to watch a cute shoujo!!
