A pretty bad manga that i would probably not recommend :DContinue on AniListPeople say that you should never judge a book by its cover, a metaphorical phrase meaning one should not judge the worth or value of something or someone by outward appearance alone. This manga challenges that phrase with its dogshit cover and title, but honestly, even this manga should not be judged on that alone, not because it has hidden potential or something special about it, but because it’s actually even more dogshit than it looks.
The plot:
The title alone, “The Girls Who Traumatized Me Keeps Glancing at Me, but Alas, It's Too Late”, pretty much sums up the entire story of this manga. Our main character, Yukito Kokonoe, was “traumatized” by the two dumbfuck female leads of this story (and pretty much every woman he has been in the same room with in the past). I’m not even gonna mention their names, because they’re not even real characters. Like your average isekai, this manga follows the same formula where NOBODY other than the main characters has any substance. Literally nobody in this story matters in any way that isn’t directly related to the main character. What truly stands out with this manga is how badly it could execute this already dogshit plot.
What makes this manga even worse is that every single “trauma” the main character experiences is caused by some really fucking dumb misunderstanding between Yukito and the female leads. Nothing happens without every single fucking person being misunderstood, and nobody ever actually means any harm.This just makes every feeling and thought that Yukito has because of his trauma feel completely stupid.
The Characters:
Every single character suck ass. not a single character in this manga should ever be rooted for and you should never feel bad for any character in this manga.
Yukito is this completely flawless guy who’s always innocent. If there were a god in this manga who could show up and forgive the sins of every character, they’d probably have to exclude Yukito, because this man could truly never commit any sin. He attracts pretty much every single woman that he talks with and is also good at pretty much everything. He also be ballin and can sometimes be funny.
The female leads could pretty much be summarized in one sentence, because they’re all essentially the same character: a woman who has harmed the main character in some way and feels extremely bad about it. They also wanna fuck him. They also are all extremely selfish. They also don't care about consent and would probably rape Yukito if they ever got the chance.
The author of this manga has to be an incel or something cause you can't actually respect women and write female characters like this.
The art style:
I am not an artist and don't really have any knowledge on what makes art good or not. All i can really say is that the art in this manga can sometimes look weird and i don't really like it.
