Story & Plot
10/10 · Send Them a Farewell Gift for the Lost Time is a very well crafted story about the conflicts that arise from a lack of communication in a relationship, while also showing the tests of true love that cloud one's mind. After feeling neglected for so long, Tsukushi breaks off his relationship with Toui, but with such a strong attachment between the couple, they can't help but gravitate back to each other. As readers follow Tsukushi after the break up, there is a growing sense of loss that complicates the emotions within this situation, with longing for reciprocated care fighting the longing of love. Ultimately, Toui and Tsukushi reunite in the most gentle and considerate way, regaining a sense of deep affection that readers can enjoy. Cocomi not only slows the pace and focuses on both perspectives, but ensures that Tsukushi isn't simply being roped back into a neglectful relationship and that Toui isn't being careless with his concerns. I would also like to add that the sexual content isn't excessive and is carefully woven into the plot to show the degree of passion between the couple.

10/10 · Amid this complex flurry of emotions, both characters in this work have a certain amount of depth to their personalities. This creates for a deeper, more meaningful story that touches the audience more profoundly.
- Tsukushi Haruse · Tsukushi, a hairstylist, is both careful and considerate. After struggling in his relationship with Toui, he decides to prioritize and protect himself by ending it and moving on. While they're apart, he realizes his longing and bond with Toui, but still weighs his own needs against love in a neglectful relationship, showing great consideration as the pair teeters on the verge of ending it entirely.
- Toui Hayasaka · Toui is a novelist that can get consumed by his work, causing him to neglect his boyfriend, Tsukushi. While he believes that Tsukushi will return, he starts to understand that there is a part of Tsukushi that he doesn't fully understand, and that is, what he wants from him. Though he accepts the fact that they may finally split, he starts to reflect and realize the value and passion shared between both, starting the foundation of a real effort to resolve the issues.
  
  Art & Visuals
  10/10 · Cocomi does an amazing job at creating environments that match the situation perfectly. Each expression, effect, and angle is illustrated in an admirable way, with a clear focus on Tsukushi and Toui throughout the work. I'd also add that the sexual content isn't over exaggerated nor hidden, with intriguing angles that adds a level of spice to the work.
  
  Enjoyment
  10/10 · It's quite rare that I will offer a perfect score, but considering the wonderful artwork and the levels of depth in personality and in the plot that Send Them a Farewell Gift for the Lost Time has, I believe it is well earned. With a touching story about the ups and downs of relationships and the necessity of communication, there is a renewed sense of passion that readers enjoy as Tsukushi and Toui regain a sense of understanding of the other person and realize their compatibility overall.

  I recommend this work to those who are interested in a story about characters falling back into love and navigating conflicts in relationships. It's also important to consider that there is uncensored sexual content.
