Enemy's to lovers done well with growth
.At first the female lead was quite unlikeable, but as I read more i loved seeing the characters more in depth and her growth as a person and her mistakes and overcoming her obstacles with her goal. I really loved the story between her and the male lead it actually became one of my favorite comics defiantly worth a read.
.I really enjoyed the extra story's at the end and i was glad to see the characters story's come to a good end. I always love when a comic does a good ending with extra story's to give it that satisfying end.
. The art was beautiful and consistent throughout the comic, you could see a clear style the artists followed and it really added to being emersed into the story.
. The female leads growth is one of the best i have seen. she started off clueless, spoiled and entitled but that due to the manipulation and abuse in her past, one of the best aspects was seeing her put all the puzzles together, growing and fighting for what she wants and deserves. She starts off self centered and naive in her ways of thinking. All she wanted was to reach her goal no matter who it hurt or took down in the process, part of this due to the trauma of how her household treated her and the manipulation put on her, but seeing her figure herself out and how to reach her goal the right way was really satisfying to see. and it was nice to see a female lead that had flaws and was not perfect. I'm also glad that she never gave up on her goal for anyone even when it seemed like that would be the easier way.
. The chemistry between the love interests was great, the start being enemy to lovers but seeing the jealousy and budding feelings grow and how they support each other and protect one another was beautiful.
. Loved the side characters, my favorite was the brother. I was glad to see him alive in this life and able to support his sister and pursue the life he wanted going against his fathers wishes. The friendship between him and the male lead was really cute too and i love how protective he was of his sister
. The backstory's where tragic and really added to the characters. The story showed the sadness of loss but how a woman can be treated in a household that holds values on what gender you are even if you are more capable than your male successor.
. The pacing was slow but i never considered dropping it once, it was consistent and entertaining each chapter and I'm glad it was not rushed like a lot of comics can be.
. Storoni was a complex character. It was always hard to tell what he wanted or what his actual goals where but I'm glad we got to see how miserable he was in the end and in the past life. !~
. The father was unbearable and honestly hated every moment of his time, I wish we had got to known more of why he hated he daughter so much and i wish he had gotten an even worse ending.
