DESCRIPTION

Kaname and Shima have been living together for a year. A nice spicy story on resolving miscommunication and growing passion.

Story & Plot
9/10 · With the story revolving around a misunderstanding about sexual abstinence between Kaname and Shima, it becomes pretty clear early on that some open communication is needed to sort this situation out. However, because the pair strongly believes in the other's devotion, they resort to resolving it within themselves by putting down any doubts they might have, but overthinking it just the same. In the end though, Kaname and Shima open up about their feelings, renewing a sense of passionate love for each other with deeper devotion, creating a sweet end to a short chapter in their lives. Generally, I found Our Sweet One-Room Apartment to be a cute snippet of the couple's life together. Though the story was pretty enjoyable, I thought it was a little too fast paced and could have included more details and spacing in between scenes to better set the mood. I'd also like to add that there is a good amount of sexual content.

Characters
9/10 · In Our Sweet One-Room Apartment, there's a lot of emphasis and focus on the two main characters, along with their personalities and internal thoughts, allowing readers to see through their actions and words throughout the work.
- Kaname Sasamori · Kaname is portrayed as a somewhat delinquent uke who has a more passive personality in comparison to Shima, making him an interesting character to engage with as he initiates sexual abstinence.
- Shima Seto · Shima, an honors student, appears to be very devoted to Kaname and his happiness, noticing and respecting certain boundaries to the best of his ability. Though he has his desires, he tries to be accommodating, but does have doubts about what Kaname wants in their relationship as the story progresses.
  
  Art & Visuals
  8.5/10 · kamoburger does a good job at expressing character emotions and their physical forms, but focuses less on the environment and mood. Generally, the art and visuals were enjoyable and unique, and didn't leave out any important details.
  
  Enjoyment
  9/10 · Overall, I found the work rather fast paced, which at times led to some confusion, but the characters and art were both decent and approachable. There were also a lot of explicit scenes that one may find intriguing, while also including rather tame parts that brought about some deeper thought and consideration on the topics of commitment and communication.
  
  Recommendation
  I recommend this work to those looking for a light story that's spicy and passionate. I think this is a good stepping stone to those looking for more explicit works, but not necessarily ready for uncensored scenes that are longer and more intense.
